This table is a guide to the standard acoustic performance of our Aluminium Windows & Doors.

The Rw (Weighted Sound Reduction Index) ratings are derived from a combination of;

Generic test results on a series of windows & doors, compiled in February 2000 for the Australian Window Association.
Base Acoustic ratings of flat glass from glass manufacturers.
Air leakage tests conducted in accordance with AS 2047-1999 in NATA registed laboratory No. 14093.
Independent Acoustic tests conducted in accordance with AS 1191-1985 & AS 1276-1999.
